Around the Mountains
GRADE & DURATION
Most people complete the Around the Mountains cycle trail in one adventure spanning from 3 to 5 days - depending on fitness and ability.
HIGHLIGHTS
Cycling through alpine vistas, rural farmland, and Lord of the Rings country is all part of the Around the Mountains Cycle Trail experience.
REFRESHMENTS
The Around the Mountains Trail runs through many great country townships. Toilet stops, and places to buy food and water, and accommodation are available.
TRAIL INTENTIONS
Before you begin any outdoor journey in New Zealand, it is advisable to complete your Trail Intentions documentation. A Personal Locator Beacon is also recommended.
We estimate starting pick ups in Queenstown from 1:00pm but may start as late as 2:00pm depending on traffic. Please let us know if you have any specific time constraints, or call us for a charter if this timing doesn’t suit for you.
